It's really over

Despite the ongoing news about the presidential election held Tuesday, one chapter is clearly over. It's a chapter that dragged on for what felt like thousands of pages. One of those books you wanted to finish, but also had to put down at times to get a break.
Now, it's on to another chapter. The post-election, pre-Obama presidency. Is he taking over a country in such bad shape that his destiny is predetermined? Will Republicans look back at the strides the Democrats made in 2008 as a turning point for the better because no one can right the ship? Will Obama overcome the difficult issues he faces, including the slumping economy, divided political atmosphere and an ongoing war, to have a successful presidency?
The stories will not end. The book is far from complete. Keep reading....

As per your title states "It's really over," I don't think so. You have made some valid points about the challenges that Obama will inherit from the previous administration. I think now looking forward and seeing his progress I am very pleased with his current work. Investing back into America to help America, man, what a concept!

Like I said, this story is definitely not over.... I'm pleased to hear optimism from a young person. I hope you are correct.

Investing in America?? Maybe in giving billions to unions, but not helping manufacturing one bit. He is postponing the inevitable bankrupcy of our union heavy automobile sector.

Remember I said this "you will regret your vote for Obama"

The USA will be much weaker when he leaves office than when he took over.

Definitely possible. If that's the case, you can proudly boast how right you were.

But will you be proud to say you're right as our country becomes weaker?

And what if he actually succeeds? Will you be able to admit it and give him credit?
